| Professor Dan Lee is the founder of the Dan Lee Academy of T'ai Chi Ch'uan (The Southern California T'ai Chi Ch'uan Center) and has been the chief instructor there since 1969. Born in Shanghi, China, Dan started his martial art training at age 10 in Shao-lin and Ch'i Kung. His continued interest in the martial arts has earned him a brown-belt in Judo, a black-belt in Kempo Karate and a senior student rating in Jeet Kune Do (The way of the Intercepting Fist), an effective combat system conceived by the foremost martial artist, Bruce Lee. |
